How roulette works
From bets closing to the result: understand a round.
The aim of a round
Roulette has numbered pockets and a ball that determines the outcome. You can cover a number, a group or a property such as colour. A bet wins when the result belongs to the covered set, subject to table rules.
Bets open and closed
Live tables have an acceptance period. Once betting closes, new bets do not belong to that round. Check the recorded chips and total stake before the deadline.
Read the table paytable
Multiplier variants may change traditional payouts. This site’s interactive table represents classic European roulette without multipliers or special zero rules.
