Roulette bets: coverage and payouts
Numbers, dozens and colours: compare what each bet covers.
Inside bets
A straight-up bet covers one number; a split covers two; a street three; a corner four; and a six-line six. Classic profit payouts are 35:1, 17:1, 11:1, 8:1 and 5:1 respectively.
Outside bets
Dozens and columns cover 12 numbers and pay 2:1 profit. Red/black, even/odd and low/high cover 18 numbers and pay 1:1 profit. Zero is not included in these sets.
Profit and total return
A 35:1 payout means 35 profit units per unit staked, plus the winning stake returned. Total return would be 36 units. Check how the table interface displays these amounts.
